Sigrid Wallach brings 23 years of experience in the world of fine art to CONSOR Intellectual Asset Management. Her unique background spans expertise in art history, art collecting, as well as the investment and business aspects of the art market.
She honed her experience in the business of fine art while she was Director of several prestigious art galleries specializing in the work of the European Modern Masters – including Picasso, Matisse, Miro and Chagall. In that role she was responsible for client development, curating exhibitions, coordinating gallery openings and managing the business, sales and marketing operations. She advised her international clientele on all aspects of art collecting.
Taking her inspiration from Picasso’s collection of tribal art, she has traveled extensively to collect tribal art and artifacts from around the globe. This passion has taken her to Papua New Guinea, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Mali and the fabled city of Timbuktu.
Sigrid has consulted with private and corporate collectors from the United States, Europe and Asia on art collection, fine art valuation, and art asset management. She has been consulting with CONSOR since 2008.
