The 2009 Intellectual Property Spring Seminar presented by the Intellectual Property Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan in cooperation with the Institute of Continuing Legal Education offered attendees the opportunity to learn about the most recent intellectual property issues from nationally renowned experts. In his seminar, entitled Maximizing the Value of Corporate IP: Licensing and Beyond, featured speaker Weston Anson offered valuable insights into:
- Knowing where maximum strategic and realizable value is to be found in the asset portfolio;
- Establishing a realistic current market value for the assets;
- Understanding how to extract maximum value from the assets
- Selecting the best possible intellectual property/intangible asset strategy for the situation; and,
- Managing the process.
